Invite Your Team
PromptDeploy supports three roles — admin, developer, and editor. You can invite team members by email, and they don't need a GitHub account to contribute.
Sending invitations
- Go to Team in the sidebar
- Click Invite member
- Enter their email address and choose a role
- Click Send invitation
The invitee receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they don't have a PromptDeploy account, they'll be prompted to create one.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — manage billing, team, repos, and prompts |
| Developer | Manage repos and prompts, invite members |
| Editor | Edit prompt content only |
Editors are the sweet spot for non-technical team members. They can edit prompts through the visual editor without seeing repository settings, billing, or team management.
See Roles & Permissions for the full breakdown.
Editor limits
The number of editors you can invite depends on your plan:
| Plan | Editor limit |
|---|---|
| Free | 2 |
| Team | 10 |
| Business | Unlimited |
Admins and developers don't count toward the editor limit.
Revoking access
To remove a team member, go to Team, find the member, and click Remove. Their access is revoked immediately.
